Ecstatic Tropical Sundays

A weekly ECSTATIC DANCE practice in the heart of Brazil. We gather at the legendary culture hot spot of the Afro-Brazilian culture, the Barracão D'Angola.

ECSTATIC DANCE is a free-form movement practice and celebration. We explore body movements, world of music, rhythms of nature, mix of cultures. The only rules are: no shoes, no booze, no chit-chatting. We invite you to express yourself, active your spirit and play with your body. Be yourself, connect with others. From flow into staccato, from chaos into joy, you will find your stillness.

During the month of April we offer a FREE ENTRY (registration requiered) for you to connect with the practice and the community. Book early to secure your spot. Tickets at the door: R$20 (pix or cash).

• comfortable clothes (dress to sweat!), no shoes on the dance floor
• little energy snack and/or juice (in future, our cafe will be offering treats)

• drug-free, smoke-free, alcohol-free environment
• no photos or videos, mobile phones muted and out of sight
